Messi Breaks All Time Champions League Goals Record
Lionel Messi has broken a 2nd major record in just 4 days as he becomes the outright top goalscorer in the history of the Champions League. His 3 goals against Apoel tonight (a 2nd hat-trick in 4 days) puts him on 74 Champions League goals, three ahead of Raul.
This is a record that is far from secure though as his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo is just a few goals behind on 70. So we could see this record changing hands multiple times before either player hangs up their boots.
