Ronaldo Equals All Time La Liga Hat-Trick Record

Last night, Cristiano Ronaldo scored an unfathomable 3rd hat-trick in 4 games as Real Madrid cruised to a 5-0 victory over struggling Athletic Bilbao.

Whilst Messi and Ronaldo both started the season on 19 La Liga hat-tricks each, Ronaldo has hit the ground sprinting so far this season, having scored 13 goals in his first 6 La Liga games – averaging more than 2 goals per game. Quite unbelievable figures.

Ronaldo’s latest hat-trick took him to 22 in total in the league since his move to Real Madrid. This puts him level with La Liga legends Telmo Zarra and Alfredo di Stefano, although Ronaldo will no doubt claim the record outright in the not too distant future.

Beast. The race for the Golden Ball for 2014 is over. I hope he stays healthy and breaks the La Liga scoring record, which is currently held by Messi.
